What do you need from me to quote a pulse capacitor?
Capacitance and tolerance, rated (charging) voltage, peak current with pulse width or waveform (for example half-sine), voltage reversal, pulse repetition frequency, RMS current, required life (shots or hours), operating temperature, and any size or terminal constraints. If you are replacing a part, the OEM part number or datasheet is enough to start.
Can you build a drop-in replacement for my current capacitor?
Yes. Send the OEM part number or drawing. We build to the original drawing and mounting — same size, terminals and mounting — and confirm the electrical ratings on a FEILO datasheet. We regularly quote alternatives for Panasonic, AVX, CDE, KEMET, TDK/EPCOS, WIMA, Exxelia, Europtronic, ASC, Soshin and Vishay parts.
How fast can I get a quotation?
Usually the same or the next business day once we have the key parameters.
Can I order samples?
Yes. Typical sample orders are 1–10 pieces, with 100% outgoing inspection, a dimension report and photos. Please ask for sample timing when you send your RFQ.
What reliability data can you provide?
Depending on the series: life (shots or hours), failure rate (FIT), ESR and ESL, life curves and test data from our datasheets. Tell us what your qualification needs.
Which terminals and mounting options are available?
Threaded stud terminals such as M6, M10 and M12 (male or female thread), defined terminal alignment, brackets and handles, and specified terminal-to-case insulation and clearance — matched to your drawing.
What tolerances and tests are possible?
Capacitance tolerances such as ±1%, ±2%, ±5% or 0 to +3%, plus terminal-to-terminal and terminal-to-case withstand tests, dv/dt and insulation-resistance requirements as specified.
What quantities do you supply?
From samples and small batches to replacement projects of 1,000–3,000 pieces per batch. MOQ depends on the design — ask in your RFQ.
